I am sicilian deep to my bones and not only because I was born in Palermo.
Being far away from my beloved land it only exacerbated my interest and passion from my roots: from history to food to the sicilian dialect, which is actually consider by many to be a language.
Living in US, I have been in constant search on how to reproduce those flavors so common in my childhood.
After sharing the fruits of my research for many years with my friends, I have decided to make my recipes public for all the people that love italian food.
There are many blogs on sicilian recipes but they are all written in Italian for people living in italy, mine is in english with US/imperial metric and with tips and tricks on how to find good italian ingredients in US.
The name of my blog refers to the recipes and not to me
